미주 통일운동원로 현준기선생 98세 생신축하
로스앤젤레스= 손세영 민족통신 고문
로스앤젤레스 지역의 통일운동원로 현준기 선생의 생신을 축하하기 위하여 2024년 9월 25일 오후 3시에 손세영, 하용진, 김백호 선생이 함께 현준기 선생의 아파트를 찾았다.
현준기 선생은 1927년 9월 25일생으로 우리 나이로 98세다.
며칠전 넘어져 병원에 입원해 계시다 퇴원하였는데 정정한 모습으로 맞이해주셨다.
생일케잌을 나누고 해피버스데이 축하 노래를 합창하였고, 꽃다발도 드리며 생신을 축하해드렸다.
현준기 선생은 생전의 노길남 박사의 통일운동과 민족통신에 대한 헌신을 회고하면서 민족통신이 노박사 이후의 어려움을 잘 극복해나가기를 바란다며 큰 애정을 표해주셨다.
아울러 백세 잔치는 북부조국에서 벌리자는 말씀도 나누었다.
5시가 넘어 아쉬운 작별의 인사를 나누고 헤어졌다.
