조선 유엔주재 상임대표부는 12월 11일 유엔안보리에서 조선《인권문제》가 강압적으로 상정되어 논의된 것을 규탄하는 공보문을 발표하면서 "미국을 비롯한 적대세력들이 안전보장리사회에서 《인권문제》론의따위로 우리를 조금이라도 어째볼수 있다고 생각한다면 그것은 언제가도 실현될수 없는 한갖 개꿈에 불과하다.우리는 그런 너절한 놀음에 꿈쩍도 하지 않으며 이번 회의를 핵강국의 지위에 당당히 올라선 우리 공화국과의 정치군사적대결에서 패한 적대세력들의 단말마적발악으로 락인하고 강력히 규탄한다."고 했다. 이 발표문을 원문 그대로 게재한다.[민족통신 편집실]

유엔주재 조선민주주의인민공화국 상임대표부는 2017년 12월 11일 유엔안전보장리사회에서 조선《인권문제》가 강압적으로 상정, 론의된것과 관련하여 다음과 같은 공보문을 발표한다.

미국을 비롯한 적대세력들이 올해 또다시 유엔안전보장리사회에서 있지도 않은 우리 《인권문제》를 상정, 론의한것은 유엔헌장과 국제법을 무시하고 대다수 유엔성원국들의 의사에 역행하는 행위이다.

유엔안전보장리사회가 국제평화와 안전을 유지해야 할 기본사명을 줴버리고 특히 적지않은 안전보장리사회 성원국들의 반대에도 불구하고 우리 《인권문제》론의를 강행한것은 안전보장리사회가 미국의 손탁에 놀아나는 도구로 전락되였다는것을 실증해주며 이것은 안전보장리사회에 대한 국제사회의 신뢰를 땅바닥에 떨어뜨리고 안전보장리사회개혁의 절박성만 부각시킬뿐이다.

미국을 비롯한 적대세력들이 안전보장리사회에서 《인권문제》론의따위로 우리를 조금이라도 어째볼수 있다고 생각한다면 그것은 언제가도 실현될수 없는 한갖 개꿈에 불과하다.

Permanent Mission of DPRK to UN

Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The Permanent Mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the United Nations Monday issued a press statement with regard to the forced submission and discussion of "human rights issues" of the DPRK on 11 December 2017 in the Security Council of the United Nations.

The press statement said:

The fictitious "human rights issues" of the DPRK were brought up and discussed again this year by the U.S. and other hostile forces in the Security Council. It is not only a disregard of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, but also an act of going against the will of the majority of Member States of the United Nations.

Abandoning its mandate for the maintenance of international peace and security and in spite of the opposition of a considerable number of its Member States, the Security Council forcibly discussed the "human rights issues" of the DPRK. That clearly proves the facts that the Security Council has been degraded to a tool controlled by the grip of the U.S. and the credibility of international community in the Security Council fell to the bottom, which gives prominence to the urgency of reforming the Security Council of the United Nations.

If the U.S and other hostile forces think of browbeating the DPRK by the discussion of "human rights issues" in the Security Council, it is nothing more than a daydream that will not be realized forever.

Their despicable plot cannot frighten the DPRK. We brand and strongly condemn the meeting as a desperate act of the hostile forces defeated in the political and military confrontation with the DPRK that has openly risen to the position of a nuclear weapon state.

The Korean people will further consolidate and develop the Korean socialist system centered on the popular masses where the human dignity has reached the highest stage. -0-
