Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a verbal personal message and a gift from the secretary general of the UN.

They were conveyed to Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People"s Assembly, by B. Lynn Pascoe, under-secretary-general of the United Nations for the Department of Political Affairs who is special envoy of its secretary general on a visit to the DPRK, today.
