Pyongyang -- Reactionaries of Japan continue distorting the history in an attempt to evade apologizing and compensating the crimes the Japanese imperialists committed against the Korean nation. Ruling party lawmakers of Japan denied on February 28 the forcible drafting of Korean women for sexual service to Japanese imperialist troops in the past, urging the government to adopt it as its official view.

Even the Prime Minister made an absurdity that there was no evidences enough to prove the forced mobilization of Korean women for sexual service to the Japanese troops in the past.

What is serious is the fact that the Japanese reactionaries describe the issue of "comfort women" for Japanese imperialist troops as deeds private businessmen, not army or government officials of Japan, perpetrated. Thus they intend to shirk the responsibility and apology for the crimes Japan committed against the Korean nation.

As is recognized both at home and abroad, the crime of having forced Korean women to sexual slavery to Japanese imperialist army in the past was a major part of the Japanese imperialist slave policy upon the Korean nation. Most of the 200,000 Korean women who were compelled to the sexual service were unmarried girls, which is a vivid evidence that Japan pursued the policy of exterminating the Korean nation. The Japanese imperialists mobilized Korean girls as so-called "comfort women" for the imperialist troops to castrate their generative power, with a view to cutting the family line of the Korean nation.

In this regard, Yuko Suzuki, woman researcher of the Japanese woman history, said "The conscription of girls from colonies by the arrogant Japanese troops must be deliberately designed to exterminate the colonial nations."

The "comfort women" system was from the beginning invented and led by the Japanese government institutions. It was organized and promoted by the Japanese government and the Ministry of the Army under the order or ratification of the "emperor". The "Paper on Conscription of Workers of the Comfort Offices", which was written by the Military Manpower Administration of the Japanese Army Ministry and published as a document of the Army Ministry on March 4, 1938, testifies that the Army Ministry organized and managed the system, at the instruction of the "emperor".

The document wrote, "Pertaining to such conscription, the Japanese army abroad must tighten its control, do properly the selection of girls and maintain close cooperation with the military police and the police in the regions to manage the system well, so as to secure prestige of the army and prevent public controversial." The document signed by the then Japanese Minister of the Army Hajime Sugiyama was one of the authorized documents next to the Royal Decree, and thus the Ministry of the Army revealed the importance of the Japanese "comfort women" policy. The document pointed out that the Japanese imperialists directly commanded their Army Ministry and the army, military police and police troops abroad to manage the forced "comfort women" conscription system.

Owing to the organized and forced sexual service to the Japanese imperialist troops, innumerable Korean girls and women were compelled to the sexual torture tens of rounds a day by the Japanese imperialist brutes, and lots of them were killed. Arabune, former vice-chairman of the Japanese House of Representatives, confessed "… 143,000 Korean comfort women were killed by the Japanese troops."

According to the testimonies of the former "comfort women", the Korean "comfort women" totaled up to 200,000 at least.

During the colonial rule over Korea, the Japanese imperialists drafted over 8,400,000 Korean young men or women including 200,000 "comfort women" to the battles or construction sites of military facilities, to compel them to hard toil and sexual service.

That is why, the problem was brought even to the US House of Representatives.

Nevertheless, the Prime Minister of Japan had the face to deny the past crimes, in an effort to conceal the immoral crime. It is really an intolerable insult on the victims, their families and the entire Korean nation.

There are not such shameless savage country and barbarians in the world as Japan and the Japanese reactionaries.

These samurais are now making fuss about the faked-up "kidnapping" as impudently as a thief cries "thief". It is really a zenith of impudence.

Facts prove that the true nature of Japs has never changed and, on the contrary, grows worse as days go by.

However shamelessly the Japanese reactionaries may attempt, they can never shirk the responsibility for the past crimes.

They must see the anti-Japanese sentiment of the Korean people and apologize and compensate for the crimes.

All the Korean nationals in the north, south and abroad should never forgive the crimes and the current moves of the Japanese reactionaries but make them settle the crimes to the last. Also they should struggle to drive out of south Korea the Grand National Party, a group of pro-Japanese traitors and their descendants who fawn upon the Japanese reactionaries.
