17th Joint Pyongyang Medical Conference between DPRK & Overseas Korean Medical Scientists
(May 5-6, 2015)
This time honored annual medical scientific conference in Pyongyang, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will be held as usual, during the May Day holiday this year, at the Pyongyang People’s Cultural Palace.
This is the major National Medical Scientific Meeting of the DPRK where overseas Korean physicians, medical scientists and other allied health professionals will be invited and allowed to participate and exchange scientific knowledge with DPRK counterparts.
This has been a unique opportunity for overseas Korean physicians whereby, many current cutting edge medical technologies, as well as some recent scientific knowledge both in basic and clinical areas could be presented and shared with DPRK physicians and other health professionals. Concurrently also the meeting had been found to be beneficial to the visiting physicians in that the research findings presented by the indigenous physicians both in the areas of western medicine as well as eastern medicine were quite unique and valuable.

Application Process: 1. Applicant’s brief CV, 2. Program application form , 3. Abstract* or Project Proposal*, 4. DPRK, Visa application form, 5. Republic of China, temporary Visa application form.
*1. Scientific paper presentation will require one page Abstract with Title (must be in Korean language). 2. Surgical or technological demonstration will require one page Project Proposal (could be in English)
