According to the south Korean MBC, the Justice Preserving Solidarity for Settling the Issue of Sexual Slavery of the Imperial Japanese Army (Korea Council - ed), the Bar Association for Democratic Society (Minbyun - ed) and other organizations of south Korea held a rally outside the UN Office in Geneva on Sept. 12 to lay bare the abuses of human rights committed by the Japanese imperialists in the past.
The organizations stressed that more than 1 400 Wednesday rallies were held by victim grandmothers and people of various circles in demand of the settlement of the issue of sexual slavery for the imperial Japanese army outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul, but the Japanese government still refuses to make an apology and reparation for the criminal sexual slavery and ignores the recommendations of the international community.
