When will indefinite Pompeo's hope for talks with the DPRK be realized? Or, how long will his hope for it survive?
According to a Reuters report, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the US hopes to get back to talks with North Korea in the coming days or weeks.
"We know Chairman Kim has continued to make the commitment to denuclearize. We are hopeful that in the coming days or perhaps weeks we’ll be back at the negotiating table with them. That’s the best outcome," Pompeo said in an interview with ABC's "This Week" that aired on Sunday.
One thing is clear that the DPRK delegation to the UN General Assembly will come to New York City this September headed not by Ri Yong Ho - Pompeo's counterpart.
