Ken K. Roh Hello friends and family of Dr. Chong Sook Suh. We thank you all for being here today and taking part in sharing our great memories of her impressive life here on earth and having the opportunity to say our farewells as we send her off to a better place.
I’ve known both Dr. Suh and Dr. Eun Sik Yang (her loving husband) for 40 years and have learned so much from couple. Dr. Suh has excelled at the top of her class, starting from grammar school, and all the up to Korea’s #1 rated Kyongki Girls Junio, Senior Highschool, and medical school -- Seoul National University.
She continued on to become a successful psychologist, helping so many people improving their lives. She loved to help others and was always willing to do this whether it was in her professional or personal life. She was part of the Asian Pacific Counseling & Treatment Center for 35 years and played a huge role in developing this organization to help numerous people in need, while being a part of organizations working various Peace Movements in hopes for bringing Social Justice to the world.
In addition to her professional success, she was lucky to find her soulmate Dr. Yang, her loving husband. They were a power couple with a strong union that many would hope to have.
