South and North Korea have agreed to hold reunions of separated families from October 30th to November 5th at Mount Geumgang in the North.
Red Cross officials from the two Koreas held a third round of working-level talks on Friday in the North Korean border city of Gaeseong to discuss preparations for a reunion of separated families.

The two sides agreed to exchange on Tuesday the lists of names of those who could participate in the reunions to check if their separated families are alive. The two Koreas plan to exchange final lists for the reunions by October 20th.
The Red Cross added that the two sides also agreed to hold two-day talks starting on October 26th in Gaeseong to discuss the regularization of the inter-Korean family reunions.
The South Korean delegation said it tried to reach an agreement by urging the North not to link the reunions with other issues based on humanitarian grounds.
